In Solidarity

In Solidarity aims to support the development of student leaders on campus through professional leadership development and awareness of social justice issues.

Our purpose is to provide student leaders with the opportunity to leave their legacy by developing their strengths, gaining transferable skills, and working effectively with their fellow Spartans to empower the SJSU community.

Solidarity in Color: Vinyl Painting
Explore where creativity meets social justice in celebration of Chavez, Huerta, Itliong Month! An artist will guide participants through the process of creating art that honors the history and legacy of the United Farm Workers (UFW) Movement.

Movie Night: Get Out
Join us for a movie screening of Get Out! Light snacks and refreshments provided while supplies last. 

Rhythms of Resistance, Bay Area Activism
Join us for sensory activity booths that will highlight local activists and social justice movements! Boba provided while supplies last. 

Brushes of Empowerment, Paint & Sip
We'll be engaging in a guided painting activity by local artist, Emilio Cortez! Come to relax and hear about tips and tricks for working with paint ans setting your intentions for your artwork.
